Things to do in Binghamton
- Number 5 located at 33 S. Washington St. in Binghamton's southside.
- One of Binghamton's most expensive restaurants. Excellent
steaks and wine.
- D.C. Dunster's

Formerly Zazou's Cucina, open for lunch weekdays and dinner
weekends. Menu changes from time to time with a wide variety of
cuisines. Last time I was there, they had excellent barbeque
brisket.
- Grotto
Azura located at 52
Main St. in Binghamton, across from the Binghamton High
school.
- Owned and operated by a Sicilian family, the food is
pleasant and has a “homemade” feel. Nice for an
inexpensive meal out, but not recommended for a fine dining experience.
- Grande's Bella
Cucina located at 1171
Vestal Ave. in Binghamton's southside.
- Has a bar, seated dining area, and pizzeria. Menu has classic
Italian as well as novel dishes. Of particular note are the
sashimi-grade Tuna steak and the gnocchi.
- J. Michael's Restaurant and Lounge located at 59 Court St in downtown Binghamton.

- Little Venice
Restaurant located at 111
Chenango St in downtown Binghamton next to the Shortline bus
terminal.

Good food, always busy (it seems), with large paintings and
portraits on the wall.

Inexpensive family-owned restaurant. In the past, they did not take
credit card payments, but this has changed recently. Good pizza at
affordable prices. “Binghamton's best kept secret.” -- now
closed.
- Nirchi's Pizza

Water St. in downtown Binghamton (and multiple other
locations).
- Nirchi's pizza is inexpensive sheet pizza. Fast
and cheap.
- Southside Yanni's located at 1202 Vestal Ave in Binghamton's soutside.
- A bar/restaurant featuring a decent selection of wines and
greek-style bar food: marinated chicken sandwiches, Mediterranean
platter, and gyros. $4.99 dinner specials almost every night.
- Argo
Restaurant located at 117 Court St. in downtown Binghamton.

A Greek diner that should be reopening after some recent, extensive
remodeling.
- Curry's of India
located at 45
Court St. in downtown Binghamton.
- Only worth mentioning due to the fact that it is the only
India restaurant in the area. If a curry is required, this is the only
place to get it, but it's not recommended.
- Taj Mahal located near the Binghamton High School

This is a Pakistani restaurant connected to a Halal butcher. Never
eaten there, and doesn't seem to be mentioned on the web.
- China One located at 50 Court St. in downtown Binghamton.
- Fast, inexpensive and decent quality Chinese food. Open
into the evening every night.
- Old World Deli located at 27 Court St. in downtown Binghamton.
- High quality meats and cheeses. Closes at 4PM, closed Sunday.
- Whole in the

Famous for their pesto (sold in groceries around the world), a whole
foods (small 'w', small 'f') restaurant with a selection of vegetarian
and vegan dishes as well as fish and poultry entrees.

Quizno's located at 40 Court St in downtown Binghamton.
- Generic Quizno's fare. -- now closed.
- Cybercafe West

Main St. in Binghamton's westside.

CoffeeTalk/Buffy's
Burritos/Incognito located at 71
Court St in downtown Binghamton.

Coffee bar and burrito joint. Good selection of tacos, burritos and
drinks downstairs. Has desserts and coffees upstairs. -- now closed.
- La Tazza located at 39 S. Washington St. in Binghamton's southside.
- A coffee shop with rich desserts and live music (generally a
singer/songwriter with a guitar).
- On
the Roxx Bar and Grill located at 35 Washingston St. in downtown Binghamton.

Previously the “Midnight Moonlight Cafe”, now a bar
with a kitchen. Has been hit and miss. At times, only deli sandwiches
were available, and other times, a full menu (with excellent cajun
garlic bread) was available.

- Tom & Marty’s Town House located at 89 State St. in downtown Binghamton.
- A bar with fried bar food. Of particular note are the fried
vegetable platter and fried mushrooms. Typically, these are available
at the neighboring bars, too.

- A cafe/bar/restaurant with an interesting selection of dishes.
